You can't go to Venice and not have a gondola ride. In San Marco they load on a dock over by the Doge's Palace. They aren't excely easy to get into, they rock and bob. Our gondola driver was also a bit grumpy and liked to yell at everyone.
Bernie gave each group's gondola a name, and ours was the QE2 (Queen Elizabeth 2.)
