Followed by the Bloody Tower, which got it's name from the murder of the Princes in the Tower. They were 12 year old Edward V and nine year old Richard. The two brothers were the only sons of King Edward IV. They were lodged in the Tower of London to be protected by their uncle Richard, Duke of Gloucester. King Edward IV died after a sudden, severe illness and Edward V was supposed to be coronated. Instead both boys "disappeared" and Richard took the throne.
