The view to the west. That sandy patch is the courtyard behind Horse Guards where we watched the changing of the Household Cavalry. Above it is St. James Palace where the changing of the Queen's Guard began (there's two long white buildings, then a short white building. St. James is just beyond that.) The wooded area is The Mall, where we watched the Queen's Guard march. And then there's Buckingham Palace itself in the upper left. Incredible to see it all in one place and put the mental map together.
