We left Notre-Dame and met up with the tour bus again, heading towards our next major destination. On the way we buzzed by the Fontaine de l'Observatoire. This 1874 fountain and sculpture depicts horses, turtles and fish bursting out of the water while four naked girls dance while holding up the earth. Each woman is a different nationality, European, Asian, African, and American. Though the difference between European and American in terms of ethnicity escapes me.
