From the tower we went and stopped at the Arc de Triomphe to do a tour of it. However if you remember I already covered that. On the way there we passed the Statue of Liberty. The French gave us our statue in 1886, so to thank them for that as well as celebrate the centennial of the French Revolution we gave them this quarter scale replica in 1889.
