The main course was served with flair. They turned out all the lights and brought prime rib in with a big, flaming brazier in the middle while the guitar player picked it up a notch. These two paraded it around the room before setting it down and starting to carve.
It was really late after a long day when this got over, but we still enjoyed it a lot. Bernie played songs over the bus PA system from his iPod (yes he still had an iPod.) Mostly Italian songs but somehow Neil Diamond's "Sweet Carolyn" got in the mix, and we had a bus full of well sauced tourists all singing it at the top of their lungs. Made for a fun trip back to the hotel.
