Our room had a little booklet with this on the cover. Apparently when Jimi came to London he like to stay at the Cumberland. It was the place he was staying before he died in 1970, and the location he gave his last interview. Though he died down in Notting Hill, not at the hotel.
They have a special high end room you can stay in called the Jimi Hendrix Suit, that's made up like he used to like his room. From the brochure "decked out in vintage fabrics with wild murals, psychedelia and a replica “Flying V” guitar."
