On the bomber side of things, the most well known and mass produced of WWII was the Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress. Relatively fast and high-flying for a bomber of its era, the B-17 dropped more bombs than any other aircraft during World War II. The most famous of these being the Memphis Belle, which they have at the Museum.
