Pucking Around

Things kicked off in Killorglin which is mostly known for it's yearly Puck Fair. For three days in August the town is overrun with party folk and the pubs are allowed to stay open extra late. At the start of the festival they go up into the mountains and catch a wild goat, who is brought back and crowned King Puck. When the festival is over they put him back. It started is 1613 and was originally a cattle and horse trading fair, but has since turned mostly into an excuse to party.
