Less Walls Not More

During the height of the Troubles they built what is called the Peace Wall between the Protestant and Catholic sides of Belfast. The surprising thing is to this day the walls remain are still locked at night to keep the parts separated. You can get around it but you have drive several miles out of your way, so the cabbie said these days it's to keep the drunks from causing trouble. Making them go miles out of their way to cross over and do some vandalism usually gives them time to have second thoughts about it.
