Tall Hall

The hill is called Castle Rock and various people have been using it as a base since 200 AD given it's obvious strategic vantage to the land around it. There have been many different iterations of fortress here since then, growing into what we see now built in 1367 by David II. However it has since kept evolving with the last building erected in 1588.

This is currently the Scottish National War Museum, but was built in 1755 as a barracks.
