We started our morning in Edinburgh with a nice walk down to the Waverly Bridge where the bus tours kick off from. On the way we passed this impressive spire, which is a monument to Sir Walter Scott. It was built in 1838 to commemorate Scott who was a Scottish novelist, poet, playwright and historian.
