Most Holy

Next was the Cathedral of the Most Holy Trinity, built in 1793 by the architect John Roberts. Roberts was a local boy and ended up building a lot of famous Waterford landmarks. This is the oldest Roman Catholic cathedral in Ireland, and it's construction was a big deal at the time because it showed a weakening of the Penal Laws that the Protestant English nobility had been enforcing against Catholics.
