Everybody got to get a few wacks at the ball, though it had just started to rain so we didn't get to go out on the hurling pitch there on the other side of the wall. Hurling is hard to describe, lacrosse is the closest thing to it I can think of. Pretty much every kid in Ireland plays hurling at some point, but those that go pro don't get paid to play. All the money goes into helping the local communities and the next generation of hurlers.
