We got in a day early before the tour started so we could relax and look around Boston a little more. We had a late lunch at a cafe around the corner called Nero which was average at best. It was right across the street from the Paramount Theater. The theater was built in 1932 by Paramount Pictures, and was the first movie house in Boston to play talking motion pictures. It got designated a landmark in 1984 and is currently owned by Emerson College. They put on live theater productions in the main hall, and have several smaller stages where their acting students practice and put on plays. There are also a few small theaters where their film students go for classes.
