Now Boarding At Gate 3

Baldur's Gate 3 has been a long time coming. The second in the series released way back in 2000, so 23 years is quite a gap. It was mostly worth the wait. The game is insanely long and there's tons to do. The characters are well written and enjoyable to interact with and the main plot is very well done. My only complaint is one a lot of RPGs struggle with, that's nailing the ending. They start out with so much possibility and then the ending comes down to basically two or three options and none of them quite hit right. Still, you can headcanon the end and just immerse yourself in the rest. Easily the game of the year so far.
