Space shuttle Atlantis went up successfully today, the final launch of the shuttle program.
Remember this? Now we have to beg rides off the Russians if we want to go into space. Yes, the shuttles should most definitely be retired, they've long outlasted their expected lifespan. It's the fact there's nothing to replace them that's depressing. I'd rant, but
