Rehabilitation

Physical therapy session one. I meant to take a picture of the building but I forgot, instead you get the business card. Oh well, we'll be there plenty over the next three or four weeks I'm sure I'll make up for it. Went well during, but Mari is more sore now than she's been through the entire process. Still, it's a long way to recovery but hasn't been as bad as we were expecting.

Traffic Problem

A day to relax and recover before the real rehab begins. Our biggest problem right now are these two. They've been really good so far but making sure they stay out from foot and away from hip requires constant vigilance.

Cut Off

And we're home! Still a long way to go, weeks of using a walker and going to PT at least three times a week (starting Friday.) But home is always better.

In And Out

Had PT this morning and everything is looking good so it's official, we get to go home today! Just waiting on the paperwork.

Flower Power

Day 2. Everything seems to be going OK. Mari got several flower and food arrangements which made the room smell nice and the patient happy. Physical Therapy twice and both times it went well so we're on the fast track to a Wednesday release.

Slow time

Mari is out of surgery and doing ok.

Waiting Room

Here's Mari's room at Baptist, she just went down for surgery. Now to wait.... I don't like this part.
