Holmes Again

Our second so-so movie in a row, it's getting harder to justify the cost of going to the movies with so many alternatives out there. But hey, gets us out of the house. Mostly looking forward to the return of the BBC/Masterpiece Mystery in May I think it is.

Irony

There's a big pin up board over at the CJC that usually has all kinds of things on it. Someone cleared it off, then put up a bunch of those "inspirational" pictures. But right at the top, in the midst of all this inspiration, is the biggest poster of all talking about suicide. Well planned.

This Pontiac decided to burst into flame on the 5th floor of the garage at work. I park on the sixth. In fact if you spy the white SUV above it, I park just to the right on the other side of that pole.

Bonne Annee

The last hours, of the last day, of all the holiday vacationing. Back to five day weeks, workin' for the man. Good way to end it though, really excellent dinner at Mimi's.

Cruising Into 2012

My top three to see today, 1-Sherlock Holmes, 2-Mission Impossible, 3-The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo American Style. Mari's list was the exact opposite. So we decided to go with where our tastes intersected, and watched MI: Ghost Protocol. Jeremy Renner and Simon Pegg after all. It was alright, worth the time, not the ticket. Stream it later.

And so, as the year comes to an end, I finally finish my first run through of Skyrim. Remember back here when I talked about game length, well check this out for accuracy. I'll now wait for the creation kit to be released and see how the fans run wild before adding the best of their mods and playing through again. In the meantime I'll take a little break from gaming, maybe see the sun again...oh wait, is that Deus Ex on sale on Steam? Nevermind.
