Cracker Barrel is making the dinner, but Mari always puts on a special setting and Easter is no different!

Planet of Lana is a side scrolling puzzle game, much like Limbo and Inside only with a much lighter color pallet. Well done and interesting, this was another short Indy game that told a specific story it wanted to in a specific setting. I finished it in two sessions and enjoyed it, just about the right length for what it was attempting.
Killer Frequency is an indy game that shows how you can focus on a simple setting with a complex story and make something interesting. In this first person game you're an 80's late night radio host. It's just you and your producer in the studio. After learning the basic controls of the studio, where you can actually play records, use a sound board, take calls and play ads you get a call from the police. It's a small town of less than 1,000 and the sheriff has been killed and another officer incapacitated. The only remaining officer leaves town to get help and forwards all 911 calls to you. That part of the story is a bit contrived but the rest is really interesting. Using just things you find around the radio station you have to guide people who call in running or trapped by the killer to safety. Its a short game, I finished in just two sessions, but really well done and enjoyable.
Spring has sprung and the deer are out in force. There are 11 in this picture if you can find them all.
Against the Storm is a rougelike city builder. An interest concept and the game play was fun for the first few seals. The seals being the goal of each cycle. It got a little repetitive after that but still worth the play.
It's so rare we get a bluebird and they are so pretty I always try to snap a picture. Unfortunately cell phone cams still don't do long zooms very well. So this is the best I got.
The hospital dad volunteers at is having an egg drop competition between the various departments. Dad was elected to represent the volunteers for obvious reasons. This is his prototype, built after watching some videos online which he dropped several times with great success. UPDATE: Unfortunately the final product which he built with different straws didn't hold up and his egg cracked during the drop. He'll get them next year!
Finished Hogwarts Legacy. I didn't have much of an expectation going in, but it turned out to be one of the best games I've played in a while. The world design alone was incredible, especially if you were already a Wizarding World fan. If the whole game had just been wandering around Hogwarts and Hogsmead I would have been happy. But the game play, the spells, the puzzles, the plot and voice acting. All of it top notch. I really hope they come out with a sequel.
