Tonight's play was My Fair Lady. We had heard it was updated a little for the modern sensibility, making Eliza Doolittle less of a doormat. Really we couldn't tell the difference except for a very strange ending. We had to look it up and in this version she doesn't end up with Henry and goes off on her own, but the play didn't make any of that clear. Oh well, the performances were good if the play itself wasn't.
