Metro

Downloaded and created a virtualized Windows 8 install based on the Consumer Preview just released. I'd also done this for the Developer's Build early on but it was pretty much unusable, which was to be expected it was just out there for developers. The new tile desktop which MS calls "Metro" takes some getting used to. On a tablet it's supposed to be really good, on a desktop with keyboard and mouse...not sure yet. But you can flip away from Metro and go back to Windows 7 style desktop anyway, so the real proof will be in stability and performance.
