The Art Of Waiting

Mari and I are waiting to pick up Mom and Dad, returning from a trip to Alaska. In the lounge area was a cool art display of found wood objects by Rebecca Ruegger. Helped pass the time pleasantly.

Even Mo' Monkey Madness!

You may or may not remember that Monkey Island is one my all time favorite classic series from the early 90s. They have been re-releasing them updated to work on modern operating systems, starting with the first one, then the second, and they just released the third (there are four.) It only took me two days to finish, but remember back then games were shorter (limited by disk space) and I'd also already played it so a lot of the puzzles came back to me. Still fun!

The best thing that can be said of August is it's one month closer to cooler weather. But you never know maybe ol' August will surprise us.
