Venice, Ingress 2

On the right side is the Giudecca, with a striking building called the Molino Stucky. It was built in 1884 by businessman Giovanni Stucky, and started life as a flour mill and pasta factory. It went through various trials, tribulations, and expansions over the years until 1994 when the Acqua Marcia Group bought it in conjunction with Hilton Hotels. Turned out not to be the best deal, the place is a money pit. The Acqua Marcia Group went out of business and the building is in receivership, but nobody wants to foot the bill so it's been on the market for some time while still operating as a Hilton Hotel for the time being.
