I will take this opportunity to point out another interesting difference we found. In all the hotels we stayed at there was no such thing as a queen bed. They would always have two twins, sometimes like here pushed together, but other times completely separate. We made Dick Van Dyke Show jokes about it at the time. (By the way for those who like obscure knowledge, the old timey rule that dictated TV shows not show people sleeping together was called the Hays Code. The first TV couple to break this rule? Darren and Samantha on Bewitched. And you thought this was just going to be boring vacation pictures.)
