Puzzling Behavior II

Finished our second Coronavirus World puzzle today. There was one in between featuring a bunch of snow and a red truck but we gave up on it for being too frustrating. This is supposed to be relaxing and fun after all.

Hot 44

Birthday hot chicken is best hot chicken. This is a new place called Slow Burn. I rank them tier two.

Moron

Eventually I made it down the street and around the corner where, in the distant right, you can see the testing center through the trees. In the end it took a little less than two hours so it could have been worse, but it was not lost on me there were all these cars sitting, burning fuel in order to keep our air cleaner.

Oxy

I had to get the tags for the Jeep renewed and in our county that requires an emissions check. Now don't get me wrong, I'm highly in favor of this and it's environmental qualities. However in another of those unexpected ways living in Coronavirus World effects life, they only have one of four testing centers open.

I went early because I had heard it was bad but...wow. The line went all the way down the street to a cul-de-sac, around the cul-de-sac and out the other side. That black pickup? That's the end of line going into the cul-de-sac after I had already made it around.

Still Mad

Maddie still loves her toys and the occasional, though much gentler tug of war.

Birthday Threes

As has become tradition, we celebrated the three July birthdays together today. Mom , Mari and myself all got to the enjoy this amazing cake from Baked on 8th.

Form Over Function

Finished Jedi: Fallen Order this evening. I really enjoyed the story but I really did not enjoy the game play. This was one of those times when the writers got it right and the designers needed to go back to school.

How It Should Be Done

Thanks to Coronavirus everyone in TN gets to vote by mail if they so choose, and I so chose. This is the way it should be for every election. There's only one reason not to, and that's because Republicans know they'd never win another election if it was easy for people to vote.

We're staying in our Corona bubble and having a 4th of July dinner with Mom and Dad. Mari made this red, white, and blue gluten free dessert and it was amazing.

Yet another WOTM from home. While I want life to return to normal in many ways I've warmed up to the whole work from home deal and I think I could do this indefinitely. It won't last of course, now they are saying late August for returning to the office.
