I never knew much about butterflies, so I'm trying to identify what we've been attracting with the new butterfly garden. This is a Common Buckeye.

One of the judges in talking about the virtues of JIS, said we are to ITS what the SEALs are to the Navy. We were tickled by this and repeated it often, so my folks went out and got a SEAL Team Six shirt that I now have on my office wall.

Tara Belle Greer

Our sweet, lionhearted girl Tara passed today at the ripe old age of 16. The house is so much emptier without her. She will be missed. Here is an older picture of her doing her favorite thing in world, sitting outside in unreasonable weather conditions. It's hard to believe we only got to have her for 7 of them. Here's my post from the first time she came over to stay at our house when she still belonged to Wade and Rebecca.

I've been collecting Bicentennial quarters forever, since they came out the year I was born. They're getting pretty hard to find (especially since I don't use cash much these days), but I found one on the ground today! Does that mean 25 days of good luck?

I've been a Battletech fan for a long time now, having played the tabletop version back in High School. This game is a solid recreation, but it got repetitive pretty quickly so call it a mixed review.
