O Solo Wego

Mari and I went to see the new Star Wars: Solo movie and really enjoyed it. Much better than the bleh outing that was Last Jedi, this felt more like an old school Star Wars flick.

Drowning In Fun

Subnautica is a game where your spaceship crash lands on a water planet and from nothing but your escape pod you have to build a habit and the tools you need to at first just survive, and later figure why the ship crashed and how to get off the planet. It started out frustrating but once survival got easier it was a fun game with a good, subtle story. Taking place almost all under water was an interesting twist.

Midway through today's walk it decided to rain. A lot.

Boxed In

The final results of the pantry project with the walls painted and the shelves in. So much more storage!

Paint Box

The new pantry with the drywall up, everything mudded, and the door installed. We ran some electrical in case we want to add lights later. Now we just need to sand, paint, and put up the shelves.

Criminal Cubes

Another item in the list of things probably only interesting to me: They continue to build the jail and today started loading in these "pods", the squares seen on the back of that truck as well as the one being lifted up. Well I got a look inside one (there is no floor to them) and they are modular two prisoner jail cells. Each metal container has a bunk bed attached to one wall and a sink and toilet attached to the other, with all the hookups needed built into the back. They are stacking them two high and I assume will add a catwalk at some point for the upper cells. I guess I just assumed they would build the cells with the jail. Learn something new every day, no matter how useless the knowledge.

Double Digits

Today the ol' Snicker Snack turns 10. That's a whole lot of snacking.
