Room Reclamation

I should have taken a before picture but it would have been too shameful. Anyone who has been to our house in the last 10 years or so knows this became the room we cracked open the door and tossed stuff into. It was literally packed from front to back with a little path in the middle to get to the futon, which was usually buried under crap too. Well it took all of the three day weekend but we have finally reclaimed it!

Uplifting

...this. An 8x8 hanging storage platform so we can clean out and reclaim the bonus room, and anything else we want to put up there.

The materials have been collected and it's time to begin the next home project, which entails turning all this wood into...

They had the wrong window so we've had to wait for them to order the right one, but the cracked window on the side of the house....

Bartles Down

We were watching a storm roll through when right before our eyes half of the Bradford tree we named Bartles came crashing down. I guess I know what I'm doing this weekend. We'll see if there's enough trunk left to save him or if it's axe time.

Great 8

Snicker Snack turned 8 yesterday! It might not get all the love it used to, but who knew it would last this long?
