Good News

The final show of this season, Newsies and it was one of the best. As I left my nice house, in my nice car and went to a great show at the theater, then to a nice dinner with my lovely wife I realized, I've got it pretty damn good. I should always remember that.

A Shop In The Dark

Grocery shopping turned a bit more adventurous today when the power went out. By the time I took this picture emergency lights had come on, so it doesn't do the effect justice of being in the store and suddenly everything going dark.

Memorial Day Memory

A Memorial Day BBQ at the parent's house to celebrate the day, and them being mostly moved in now.

A family of geese stroll by as my parents join us for our Saturday morning Click and Clack to Panera ritual. The first of many now that they live here again.

Mixed Max

Based on the stellar reviews we went and say Mad Max: Fury Road this afternoon. I thought it was absolutely fantastic, Mari...well, not so much. I owe her a movie now. Totally worth it.

Room

It's hard to get a good picture of the results in such a small room, but trust me it looks great. New mirror, new fixtures. The paint color is called "Oregon Coast" so of course we had to use it. We like it so much we might use it out in the mail hall too.

Powder

Now that we're permanent Nashvillians, it's nice to get back to working on the house. This weekend we did the downstairs bathroom.
