Ballpark Update

Latest update. They've moved in dirt for the field and red clay for the baselines.

Go Joe

Another play, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. I wasn't sure about this one going in but the performances were so good it won me over. Followed as usual by a great (and healthy thanks to their new "lighter take" menu) dinner at Maggiano's.

Deck Party

The birds threw a party on our deck apparently. We weren't invited. That's the thanks we get for all that birdseed.

Damocles

We found this giant icicle this morning, probably a result of the slight thaw / refreeze we had last night. 

Cool Morning

Well it only got down to 6 degrees, not the -5 we were threatened with on the news. Nashville is cold and quiet this morning from my office, it's warmed up to a toasty 8.

Snowkley

With a fresh inch of snow over the ice from yesterday and work back in session, I finally get to do something I've been wanting to do since we bought Oakley.

All That Glitters

We got to stay home today thanks to the dicey conditions on the roads. The sun came out and lit up all the ice coated trees in glittering rainbow hues, it was gorgeous but somehow impossible to translate into pictures. This was the best result of many attempts.

Oh, THAT Snow

The promised snow has arrived to put a nice blanket over the inch of ice.

Plans On Ice

We knew it was supposed to snow today, but with the mighty Jeep sitting ready we made plans to get a lot of stuff done on our President's Day off. Unfortunately snow is not what we got, we got pure ice and repeated pleas on the news for everyone who could to stay home. So that's what we'll do. Time to clean out the DVR.

Ballpark Update

They've started to spread dirt for the infield and it's hard to see but build the frame for what I am going to assume is the scoreboard. I'm not even a huge baseball fan I just like watching things get constructed. Last update here.

Kinky Boots at TPAC followed by dinner at Maggiano's. Fantastic play, fantastic food, fantastic evening.
