Magnetic Poetry

Clearing all the magnets before the new fridge gets here, including approximately a zillion word magnets from various packs. At least it feels that way when you're trying to peel all those suckers off. They aren't going back on (probably) so we'll have to say goodbye to such classics as "The country mooner gets the quiet whisper of mosquitoes up his but*" or the profound "A hooker always has a smile." Stay classy.

*there was no "butt" magnet, call it poetic license.

Thaw

Went down to breakfast this morning to find the fridge had died. Nice of it to wait until the day after we go grocery shopping. Can't complain too much, it lasted us 13 years without any problems. Also not bad to happen during President's Day sales. Got a nice replacement at Lowes for a great price, and they were nice enough to rush deliver it so we'll get it today! That's how you earn business.

I've gotten really bad about taking pics, then not bothering to post them until days later. Must try harder. Or not. We'll see. I'm glad this post turned out to be so deep and insightful. Maybe I should start a Twitter account for gems like these.

Z End

The best zombie apocalypse book yet. Unique style, it's not a story per say, it's a bunch of interviews with survivors several years later. Very well done.

One of the better Super Bowls in a while, I actually watched three whole quarters (1st, 2nd, 4th) which is saying a lot for me. Usually I lose interest and just DVR the rest for the commercials.
