The highlight of the weekend, aside from September's, was gluing all the plastic covers to the crawl space vents on, because they keep falling off. Captivating right?

Save

We don't go out to eat much so it's really disappointing when it's not good. The service at Mimi's Cafe was horrible, but it happens to be in walking distance to September's. We debated whether it was worth it just for dessert and decided to give it a shot. Had a great time, excellent food, and discovered King Estate Vin Glace from Oregon. Really, really good. Turned the whole evening around. September's is the best.

So Juvenile

Back during the big flood the Juvenile Justice Center was our worst hit property. It's finally all cleaned up and the various scattered departments are moving back in starting tomorrow. That'sa lotta computers to set up. Luckily I'm Ops and not desktop so no desk crawling, but it does mean I'm now running the help desk as they will be out...desk crawling.

Just finished this. On the surface another zombie apocalypse book, but really the zombies are in the background and it focuses mostly on the technical and societal changes that resulted in the outbreak. Good read.

Exit

Been a pretty picture uninspired week. Time to exit to the weekend.
