I'm more of a Star Wars person but Mari likes Star Trek so she wanted to give this a shot. She's been playing for a week or so, I'm going to use one of the free trial accounts that came with her box this weekend and check it out. Supposed to be rainy, good gaming weather.

Now With Special Effects

Android finally has a really good, and free, application that does all kinds of picture effects. So now Brent isn't the only one who can be all digitally creative. I also like that you can cycle through different filters before taking the picture, and on your screen it shows the filtered result live. As opposed to taking a picture first, then adding effects.

Stardust

Recently got this movie on Netflix as a random "this looks sort of good" pick. Completely loved it. Got the book, and for perhaps the first time ever, the movie was better then the book. Not to say the book was bad, but the film was definitely better.

Recovery

Still recovering from yesterday, all the pain and nausea is gone but it really kicked my butt. I've never had a migraine even come close to how bad yesterday was. The smallest effort is exhausting, so today will be spent in bed streaming a Farscape marathon from the Roku.

A Bad Day

Easily the worst migraine attack I have ever had. Today was a very bad day. If not for Mari getting an emergency prescription from the Dr for these pills, I'm not sure what I would have done. Jumped out a window I think. I love my wife.

In Hot Water

I have today off from work for Good Friday. Why I'm not sure, but I won't complain about a free day. I decided to crawl under the house to see how they ran that new pipe I mentioned. While I was under there I figured I would to go the extra mile and show all two of you who look at this thing what the new water heater looks like. Enjoy.

Mario Lied

Plumbing issues are expensive and no fun. That dug up stretch of earth is the result of a new PEX water line. It runs from our water main, all the way under the house to the garage, replacing the brittle PVC main water pipe which shattered in one spot, either before or after our water pressure valve blew out.
