Growing Mass

One of my favorite games got it's sequel today, as Mass Effect 2 launched. It's been a good time for gaming lately. It seems like only yesterday I was playing it for the first time, or reading one of the two books. Here's hoping the next entry lives up to the first.

One Of Two Certainties

Mari has this year's taxes all done, and I am thankful as ever she takes care of all that. Not much coming back from Uncle Sam this year, oh well.

Today was spent playin' video games and watchin' football. I'd call that a good one.

The aforementioned watch. Purchased for me after much searching by Mari, who knows how picky I can be about certain things. And it's perfect.

Has it really been over a year since the ring? Back to Village Jewelers to have the ring cleans and tightened, but also to get my new watch's band sized.

I always liked George Carlin, but was never truly a "fan". My sister got me this for Christmas and I'm finally getting around to reading it. So far, it's really good. Better then I expected.

My first two assignments at work. Upgrading the Blackberry server to version 5 and researching the integration of RSA into our systems. Not earth shattering, but finally starting to find my place here. All is well.

Lego My Star Wars

Don't expect anything deep from this game obviously aimed at kids, but so far it's been fun to play through the first of all six movies in Lego form.

We are true Southerners, we went and got milk tonight under the threat of snow tomorrow. In our defense we really were out of milk and needed it for the making of coffee and cereal in the morning. And we also needed tortillas for tomorrow night's planned fish taco dinner. But still...

Alarm!

One of my early favorite features, this dock you set your Droid in to charge. It automatically turns it into an alarm clock with weather. You can also choose to turn it into a music player or digital picture frame. I have already replaced my ancient CD player radio with this on my nightstand.
