Nice, crisp day to day. Feels like fall is finally happening. Blue sky from horizon to horizon except for this one brave cloud making its way by. I'm going with bat or butterfly.

Baldur's Gate 3 has been a long time coming. The second in the series released way back in 2000, so 23 years is quite a gap. It was mostly worth the wait. The game is insanely long and there's tons to do. The characters are well written and enjoyable to interact with and the main plot is very well done. My only complaint is one a lot of RPGs struggle with, that's nailing the ending. They start out with so much possibility and then the ending comes down to basically two or three options and none of them quite hit right. Still, you can headcanon the end and just immerse yourself in the rest. Easily the game of the year so far.
Nature always impresses me, even in the simplest ways. We've had this old pot with dirt in it sitting on the back deck for years now with nothing growing in it. This year it decided to bloom with wild strawberries and little yellow flowers. Makes me wonder what series of events brought those seeds here. Life finds a way.
