My favorite tree is a late bloomer, but worth it. I realized after taking this, I think I take the same picture every year. So hey, why stop now.

The big storm knocked out our cable and Internet for an ENTIRE DAY. An ENTIRE DAY without Internet people. I now fully understand the trials the pioneers went through.

A Mighty Wind

Here's the view from my office around 2 in the afternoon as a powerful storm rolled through the area. The effect of the wind was something to see from this vantage, as it whipped things around and blew a motorcycle down in the parking lot over. No damage at home, though many trees were knocked over and our cable is out, just some scared pups.

Caterwauling

Went and saw Cats tonight at TPAC. Neither of us had seen it or really knew what it was about. Around two scenes in we were both thinking this is the longest running show on Broadway? It steadily got better and the singing was great throughout, so no regrets at all. But still, I can't quite see how it blew up like it did.

If you like superheros and zombies you'll love this surprisingly well written book. If you don't like superheros and zombies, you probably won't.
