Australian Milk

After a few errands, we settled in for a rainy afternoon of movies downloaded to the Tivo via Amazon Unbox. First up was "Milk", which was pretty good. Then came "Australia" which was so bad we only got about half an hour in before giving up.

A Year Of Snaking

'Twas brillig, and the slithy toves
Did gyre and gimble in the wabe;
All mimsy were the borogoves,
And the mome raths outgrabe.

"Beware the Jabberwock, my son!
The jaws that bite, the claws that catch!
Beware the Jubjub bird, and shun

He took his vorpal sword in hand:

And as in uffish thought he stood,
The Jabberwock, with eyes of flame,
Came whiffling through the tulgey wood,

The vorpal blade went snicker-snak!
He left it dead, and with its head
He went galumphing back.

"And hast thou slain the Jabberwock?
Come to my arms, my beamish boy!
O frabjous day! Callooh! Callay!"
He chortled in his joy.

Blue Ribbon

Of all the food the stand out best was ribs from this place. This required me to break my vow swearing off all meat but chicken and fish, and karma bit me in the ass for it. I chipped a tooth. Luckily not so bad I'll need immediate dental care, but it's never fun to spit out a chunk of enamel. I beg forgiveness oh bovine gods, it (probably) won't happen again.

As per our usual modus operandi, we arrived unfashionably early. Things were still getting set up. Here's the main area, surrounded by the various vendors who have shops at the market.
