I dropped Jenni and Megan off at Dad's house and then we got ready for Halloween '25. Which didn't look a whole lot different than Halloween '24 but hey, there's something to be said for consistency.

I'm at the airport waiting for Jenni and Megan to come in from Seattle! Looking forward to a welcome visit. There was also an entire soccer team of some kind waiting for their baggage. That's not relevant to anything, just interesting to me.

I came out this morning to find a deer had sharpened it's antlers on our growing Alvin York heritage tree. He really did a job on it, we're hoping not enough damage to kill the tree. Time will tell.

The original Kingdom Come Deliverance had a great story but somewhat clunky game play. The second one really improved the game systems and the story was as good if not better. They knocked this one out of the park, Kingdom Come 2 might be in the my top ten.

Mari and I are back in Gallatin for our second No Kings protest. The TACO turn is still running the country into the ground while destroying the White House. We will keep on keeping on until the nightmare is over.

Mari and I have had the same two recliners since we met, so they are at least 29 years old. Well no more! We both picked out new ones from Lazy Boy (not the actual spelling but I refuse) and they arrived today! Comfort awaits!

This is a woolly aphid, also known as a snow aphid because when large clouds of them float around it looks like it's snowing. For some reason this year they are out in force so we've had several "snow storms" in the back yard.

I think this might the same species we've seen before, but maybe a little tatty from old age. This guy was a monster, a little bigger than the size of my hand so he ate his veggies growing up.
