Cataclismo is a kind of 4x / tower defense game done by an Indy studio. Interesting story though the voice acting was hit or miss, and the mechanics were good but limited. They game was pretty short but I think it needed to be or would have overstayed its welcome.
Though not as good as the other current Star Wars video game franchise, Outlaws still had a solid story and decent gameplay. Not sure if it did well enough to get a sequel, but I'd play it.
The Phlox in white and purple are blooming nicely this year. The purple ones are called Blue Moon.

The Alienware gaming desktop I got about 5 years ago has been a great machine, but over the last few days it keeps crashing to blue screen and nothing I do seems to fix it. I wasn't planning on replacing it, it was still able to play games at top settings, but it seems to be on its last leg. Enter my new Cyberpower Infinity 8800 Pro SE. Not only is this thing top of the line, the case and lighting is next level. I thought the Alienware case was funky with its curved shell and RGB ring. On my new machine the clear plexiglass with everything lit up inside is very cool.
Dad has a good group up where he lives, they keep an eye on him. Once word got out he broke his arm several neighbors checked on him, food has been brought over, and the kids across the street drew this to make him feel better.
You know it's not good when someone calls you at 6 in the morning and starts the call by saying "I did something stupid." Dad got up on a chair to spray for bugs and fell, so we ended up in the ER. He broke his arm just below the right shoulder. This is the machine they wheeled in to take the xrays right there in the room which was interesting.
Kenzie likes snakes. She brought the one on top with her and got the cobra at the zoo.
Mari and Mackenzie went to the zoo while I was working today. I'm jealous, whenever I have gone the tigers are always way off in the back lounging. Today they came right up to the observation window! Mari took this picture.
We've lived through quite a few big storms since moving here many moons ago. Including the very destructive tornado that went by right up the street from us and took out the power for several days. But even when that one went over our house it didn't seem that bad. A storm came through tonight and didn't do much damage, but when it first hit it definitely got my pulse up. I'd never seen such a wall of water and wind hit so hard, I don't know how it didn't snap a tree or take out a fence board. It did throw all our outdoor furniture around and ripped the top off the solar light on our deck railing.
We don't get a ton of these, but they are always pretty when they do come around. You can see a hint of the red and yellow, which is really vibrant when their wings are spread. Pretty sure that's a female cow bird photo bombing in the corner.
Survive another month. Resist how we can. The government can't tell you how to treat your neighbor.
